Polish authorities detained Krzysztof N., 66, in Lower Silesia on October 11 after receiving information about alleged threats to kill Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. He was transferred to Warsaw the following day for an investigation led by the district prosecutor’s office.

inPoland.net.pl reported the details on Friday, October 16. The suspect was described as the head of an unregistered group called the Radical Polish Resistance Movement and as an active user of several Facebook and TikTok identities.

Investigators allege that his online videos promoted violent political action and included antisemitic and anti-Ukrainian rhetoric. Some posts targeted Tusk directly, while others urged viewers to prepare for war and repeated narratives hostile to Ukraine and its European partners. An official associated with the informal movement denied that Krzysztof N. had intended to attack government representatives.

Police found dozens of homemade explosive devices and weapons during a search of his apartment; the items were sent for forensic examination. He was charged on nine counts, including an alleged plan to overthrow constitutional state bodies by force, an offence carrying a possible prison term of two to 15 years. A Warsaw-Mokotów court ordered him held for two months.
