Odesa Region Boxers Capture Two Ukrainian Titles
Oksana Bondarenko and Bohdan Beida claimed championship belts at a professional boxing event in Vinnytsia.
Oksana Bondarenko of Odesa won the vacant Ukrainian super featherweight championship after completing a dominant 10-round contest against Liubov Oksha. All three judges awarded Bondarenko the victory, scoring the bout 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91.
The Telegram channel @odesaoda reported the results on Wednesday, October 7.
Bohdan Beida, a boxer from Chornomorsk and a member of the Fanat sports club, added another title for the region. He became Ukraine’s professional lightweight champion and secured the WBC Ukraine belt.
The win preserved Beida’s perfect professional record. He has now won all five of his bouts, including three victories by knockout.
