Mental health professionals from Odesa region held talks with a delegation from Caen University Hospital in France at the Odesa Regional Mental Health Medical Center. The meeting was reported by Telegram channel @odesaoda on Saturday, November 7.

Representatives of five regional mental health centers took part. The facilities are being established with support from the REHAB project under the Expertise France health program in Ukraine, financed by the French Development Agency.

Discussions highlighted the experience of Ukrainian professionals providing daily care during the full-scale war. Participants also reviewed operational challenges and shared practices intended to support the development of mental health assistance in the region.

The event was organized under the International Medical Partnership initiated by Ukraine’s first lady, Olena Zelenska, with assistance from the Odesa regional administration and its health department.
