German authorities detained a man in the Reutlingen area who allegedly ordered the September arson attack on a Starlink ground station in Wola Krabowska, Poland. The development was reported by inPoland.net.pl on Tuesday, November 3.

Investigators said the Turkish citizen commissioned the attack while staying in Germany. A search of his home yielded eight mobile phones and ammunition. He was charged with preparing a terrorist offense, while the Stuttgart prosecutor’s office opened separate investigations concerning him.

The case had already led to several arrests. Two Turkish citizens suspected of carrying out the fire and committing sabotage on behalf of a foreign intelligence service were arrested in Germany on October 12 and faced transfer to Poland under European arrest warrants. A 24-year-old Turkish woman was also detained over allegations that she drove the suspects from Germany to Poland on the night of September 22-23.

Polish authorities separately held a Ukrainian national accused of surveying the site, recording its security arrangements and sending photographs and video to the alleged organizer. Warsaw had previously attributed the attack to Russia. The source did not provide further evidence supporting that assertion.
