Polish security services found no wreckage during a search prompted by a radar signal and reports of an unidentified object overnight on October 18. The operation focused on southern Lublin, including the area around the Zemborzyce Reservoir and Tęczowa Street.

inPoland.net.pl reported the outcome on Monday, October 19. Military units, national and military police, and a Territorial Defence Forces ground search-and-rescue team took part in the checks.

The field operation ended at about 5 p.m. on October 18 without any components attributable to an aircraft or unmanned aerial vehicle being located. Radar records were being reviewed to determine whether the signal indicated a border crossing or could have resulted from weather conditions, another anomaly, or a large flock of birds.

Poland’s Armed Forces Operational Command also considered scenarios involving a provocation or a smuggling device, but did not confirm any of them. Residents were urged to rely on official information and to call 112 without approaching or touching any suspicious debris they might find.
