Poland to suspend traffic at two Russian border crossings
Temporary four-hour closures will affect the Grzechotki and Bezledy checkpoints on separate days this week.
Poland will temporarily halt the processing of travellers and vehicles at two crossings on its border with Russia. The interruptions are linked to repair work being conducted on the Russian side.
inPoland.net.pl reported the planned closures on Monday, October 12, citing Poland’s Border Guard. Each suspension is scheduled to last from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Traffic at the Mamonovo–Grzechotki crossing will stop on October 14. The Bagrationovsk–Bezledy checkpoint will face the same restriction on October 16.
Drivers and passengers using these routes should allow for possible delays and adjust their border-crossing plans to the announced timetable.
