Mińsk Mazowiecki leads Poland’s quality-of-life ranking
A nationwide assessment placed Mińsk Mazowiecki first under expert criteria for a second consecutive year. Warsaw topped a separate ranking based on residents’ preferences.
Mińsk Mazowiecki has retained first place in an expert assessment of quality of life across Poland’s municipalities. The analysis covered all 2,479 local authorities and compared conditions affecting residents’ everyday needs.
The findings were reported by inPoland.net.pl on Monday, November 2. Algolytics Technologies and the SW Research Agency produced two lists, reflecting expert indicators on one hand and public preferences on the other.
Inowrocław ranked second in the expert table, followed by Pabianice, Chojnice and Siedlce. No regional capital entered the top 10, highlighting the strong performance of county-level and medium-sized cities. Environmental quality and education carried particular weight alongside healthcare, transport and access to essential services.
The residents’ preference list delivered a different result, with Warsaw ahead of Sopot, Kraków, Poznań and Gdańsk. Economic prospects and service availability were more influential in that assessment. At regional level, Silesia recorded the strongest conditions, while Podlaskie finished at the lower end of the comparison.
