Thirty-six entries have advanced to the second stage of Lviv region’s 2026 awards for culture, literature, art, journalism and architecture. The competition received submissions across 17 categories.

The results were reported by the Telegram channel @people_of_action on Thursday, October 22. The regional department responsible for culture, nationalities and religions registered 39 applications before submissions closed on October 1.

Jurors held their first meeting on October 21 to review the works and projects. Following that assessment, three applications did not proceed and 36 were admitted to the next round.

A 25-member jury made up of artists and heads of cultural institutions and organizations in the region will select the winners.
