Ukraine Advances Cross-Border Tax Data Exchange for Digital Platforms
Ukraine’s tax authority has signed a declaration to join the DPI MCAA framework for the automatic exchange of platform-income information.
Ukraine has taken an initial step toward joining the multilateral system for exchanging information on income earned through digital platforms. The State Tax Service reported the signing of the accession declaration on Thursday, October 29.
The move begins implementation of Law No. 4903-IX, adopted on June 9, 2026. Under the Digital Platform Information mechanism, participating tax administrations regularly and automatically share data on revenue earned by individuals and companies through online platforms.
Access to the framework is intended to help Ukrainian authorities obtain information about platform income earned abroad by domestic taxpayers while providing reciprocal data to partner jurisdictions. It also supports the introduction of OECD reporting rules and closer alignment with the European Union’s DAC7 directive.
