A large-scale blackout hit Dnipro on the morning of October 30 following a Russian drone strike, leaving hundreds of thousands of consumers without power. Municipal electric transport was suspended, while bus routes continued to operate.

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (svoboda.org) reported the disruption on Friday, October 30, citing Mayor Borys Filatov. He declined to disclose technical details about the grid but said specialist teams were taking all necessary measures. Filatov advised residents to stay home if possible and store enough water for at least one or two days.

Dnipro and the wider Dnipropetrovsk region also observed a day of mourning on October 30 for victims of the previous day's Russian attack on the railway station. Fifteen people were killed when a jet-powered drone struck while they were on the platform, according to the information provided.
