Ukraine’s tax service enables online war-loss property reports
Businesses can now notify tax authorities electronically about assets or goods lost, destroyed or damaged because of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
Ukrainian businesses may use the Electronic Cabinet to report property and inventory lost, destroyed or damaged as a result of Russian attacks. The filing must be directed to the tax authority at the taxpayer’s principal place of registration.
The State Tax Service announced the option on Wednesday, October 14. Each notice should identify the taxpayer, describe the affected site, list the damaged or missing assets and provide an estimated value of the losses.
Filers must sign in to the private section of the Electronic Cabinet, open the reporting entry area, select the current period and choose the F(J)13 Requests category. Individuals use form F13299XX, while legal entities use J13299XX. Evidence confirming the destruction or loss must be uploaded as separate PDF attachments.
The head of the organization is required to sign and submit the notice personally. An amended filing is available if new evidence emerges, further losses are identified or the estimated amount changes; it must cite the date and number of the original notice. Paper submissions remain available at taxpayer service centers and tax consultant offices.
