More than 70 railway veterans joined a meeting with the management of Ukrainian rail operator Ukrzaliznytsia to discuss their transition back to work. Telegram channel @UkrzalInfo reported the event on Thursday, October 8.

Chief executive Oleksandr Pertsovskyi outlined the pressures currently affecting the railway, including repeated attacks, damaged infrastructure and financial constraints. He also thanked former service members who have resumed their railway duties after demobilization.

The question-and-answer session covered medical examinations, reassessment procedures, employment documents and practical steps required to return to a previous position. The company said direct dialogue is intended to ensure that individual cases are heard and addressed.
