Ukrzaliznytsia paid nearly UAH 13.2 billion in taxes, fees and mandatory contributions during the first half of 2026, while continuing rail operations amid wartime damage. The figures were reported by the Telegram channel @UkrzalInfo on Monday, October 5.

More than UAH 3.6 billion went to the central government budget, with another UAH 5 billion transferred to local budgets. Payments under the mandatory state social insurance system totaled UAH 4.6 billion.

The railway operator said its finances remain under pressure from the full-scale war, daily attacks on infrastructure and the recurring cost of repairs. Despite those constraints, Ukrzaliznytsia continues to run passenger and freight services and rebuild damaged facilities.
