Serhiy Zhadan to Bring Charity Tour to Warsaw
The Ukrainian author and serviceman will visit Poland with his Country. Khartiia. Poems program. Proceeds from the European tour will support charitable work and the Khartiia unit.
Ukrainian poet, writer and musician Serhiy Zhadan is taking a new literary program across Europe, combining poetry readings with conversations about Kharkiv, military service and wartime experience. inPoland.net.pl reported the plans on Thursday, October 1.
The tour, titled Country. Khartiia. Poems, will feature selections from Zhadan’s collection of poetry, prose and artwork, Hymns of Baroque Warriors. As a serviceman with the 2nd Corps of Ukraine’s National Guard, Khartiia, he will also discuss the people and ideas shaping the unit.
The Warsaw event is scheduled for December 4, 2026, at 7 p.m. at Club Fair Play, Taśmowa 1. Tickets are priced at PLN 150, with all tour proceeds earmarked for charity and the needs of Khartiia.
