Bukovyna sets home draw record in 1-1 Kolos clash
Bukovyna extended its record run of home draws in the Ukrainian top flight but remained without a win for a seventh consecutive league match.
Bukovyna drew 1-1 with Kolos in the clubs’ first Ukrainian Premier League meeting, nearly a decade after they last faced each other in the second tier. The Ukrainian Premier League (upl.ua) reported the result on Sunday, November 8.
The home side applied sustained pressure but fell behind in the 38th minute. Danylo Kanevtsev stopped Luka Stankovski’s attempt, only for Denys Ndukwe to convert the rebound and give Kolos the lead.
Oleh Kozhushko restored parity early in the second half after an attacking move involving Vadym Vitenchuk and Vitalii Dakhnovskyi. It was the forward’s 15th UPL goal. Danylo Kravchuk later missed Bukovyna’s clearest late opportunity, sending his effort wide of an open corner from close range.
The outcome gave Bukovyna a fourth straight home draw, the club’s longest such sequence in the top division. Its winless UPL run reached seven games, while Kolos ended a streak of five league fixtures without a draw in Ruslan Kostyshyn’s 130th top-level match in charge.
