Prague Airport received reports on November 6 alleging that improvised explosive devices had been placed aboard several arriving and departing aircraft. Czech police confirmed the alert and worked with airport security teams to inspect the reported threat.

inPoland.net.pl reported the incident on Friday, November 6. The airport said the precautions caused only minimal disruption, while passengers were advised to follow official updates.

At around 1 p.m., Prague police announced that the security measures had been lifted after explosive-detection checks returned negative results. The airport then restored full operations under its regular schedule, while police continued investigating the reports.

The warning followed a series of false bomb alerts affecting flights across nearly 27 European countries on November 5. Aircraft were diverted, stopped for searches or escorted by fighter jets, but authorities in the affected countries said no explosive devices had been discovered.
