Ukrzaliznytsia expanded its passenger fleet with six newly built coaches produced in Ukraine. The railway said the cars were due to be deployed on the international route linking Kharkiv and Przemyśl, without specifying a launch date.

The Telegram channel @UkrzalInfo reported the fleet addition on Monday, November 2. The announcement presented the delivery as part of the operator’s continuing rolling-stock renewal.

The update also highlighted Tetiana Sizova’s train crew, which had carried out 30 successful evacuations since the beginning of autumn. Ukraine’s Communities and Territories Development Minister Mykola Kalashnyk recognized the railway workers for their efforts.

The operator said passenger and employee safety remained central to its work as it kept trains running and modernized its fleet.
