Kolos beat Veres 2-0 after lengthy air-raid delay
Anton Salabai contributed a goal and an assist as Kolos secured an away win in Rivne. The second half began more than an hour late because of an air-raid alert.
Kolos Kovalivka defeated Veres Rivne 2-0 in their Ukrainian Premier League matchday 10 fixture of the 2026/27 season. The Ukrainian Premier League reported the result on Friday, October 23, on upl.ua.
The visitors took the lead in the 14th minute from a corner. Irgi Kasalla delivered toward the near post, where Anton Salabai redirected the ball past goalkeeper Valentyn Horokh.
An air-raid alert delayed the start of the second half by more than an hour. Kolos struck again soon after play resumed, with Salabai sending Luka Stankovski through to score in the 53rd minute.
The victory ended Kolos’s five-game run of conceding in UPL away matches, a sequence in which they had allowed 10 goals. Veres failed to record what could have been their 40th goalless home game in the Ukrainian championship and extended their home conceding streak.
