Obolon’s youth side will host Polissya U-21 in Bucha on October 24, while defender Ruslan Vysochanskyi continues his gradual return to team training.
Obolon U-21 will face Polissya U-21 in the UPL-2 championship on Saturday, October 24. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the club’s training base in Bucha.
FC Obolon (fc.obolon.ua) reported the team’s preparations on Thursday, October 22, and published an interview with defender Ruslan Vysochanskyi. The player has spent more than three months recovering from injury and is now moving into the running phase of his rehabilitation.
Vysochanskyi said he is gradually increasing his mileage and joining selected parts of group sessions. He continues to work individually because the squad’s current drills involve short distances and a level of intensity he is not yet ready to sustain.
The defender praised his teammates’ recent performances, highlighting the 4-0 victory over Kryvbas U-21 and the draw against Veres U-21. He also said he was pleased to be back around the squad after his extended absence.
