Ukraine’s tax audit units collected more than UAH 387.4 million for the budget following checks conducted from January through September. Additional liabilities were still being agreed with taxpayers when the figures were released.

The State Tax Service of Ukraine reported the results on Monday, October 19. It said inspectors most often found sales processed without registered cash systems, missing inventory records, undeclared labor and breaches involving excisable goods.

Individual cases included a building materials store in the Ternopil region where potential penalties exceeded UAH 2.4 million. A fish retailer in Kyiv faced expected fines of more than UAH 360,000 for sales without fiscal receipts, while two food outlets in the Dnipro region were linked to possible penalties of UAH 498,000 and UAH 715,000.

At a vehicle sales site in the Mykolaiv region, the proprietor failed to provide records establishing the origin and accounting of 13 cars worth over UAH 4.9 million. The service also cited alcohol-sale violations in Poltava and the Cherkasy region, stressing that the amounts listed for these cases were prospective sanctions rather than confirmed budget receipts.
