Polissya produced a dramatic comeback against Dynamo Kyiv in the Ukrainian Premier League’s ninth round, winning 3-1 despite playing almost the entire match with ten men. The Ukrainian Premier League reported the result on upl.ua on Sunday, October 18.

Goalkeeper Oleh Kudryk was sent off in the fifth minute after his own mistake, forcing the hosts to revise their plans immediately. Dynamo went ahead on 19 minutes when Taras Mykhavko converted Mykola Shaparenko’s corner, but Ihor Krasnopir equalised before half-time from another set piece.

Krasnopir completed the turnaround after the interval. He first scored from the penalty spot following Ruslan Neshcheret’s foul on Serhii Chobotenko, then added a third after Bohdan Mykhailichenko played the ball behind Dynamo’s defence.

The victory was only Polissya’s second over Dynamo in seven UPL meetings and ended a five-match winless run against the Kyiv club. Polissya extended their unbeaten league sequence to six games, while Krasnopir’s opening strike was his 25th UPL goal and the 400th conceded by Dynamo in the Ukrainian championship.
