Shakhtar U19 suffered a 2-1 defeat to Greek side AEK in London on October 14, leaving the Ukrainian team without a point after its first two UEFA Youth League matches of the 2026/27 campaign.

The Ukrainian Premier League (upl.ua) reported the result on Wednesday, October 14. Filippiadis opened the scoring from a corner in the 19th minute, before Argyriou finished a rapid break shortly after halftime to give AEK a two-goal cushion.

Vladyslav Tiutiunov pulled one back in the 66th minute after a patient Shakhtar move that shifted the ball across the pitch and created space near the penalty spot. Oleksii Bielik’s side produced further chances but could not equalise, with a trip to Inter scheduled for October 21.
