Kharkiv recorded their first Ukrainian Premier League victory at Chornomorets’ ground, extending their winning run to four matches. The visitors dictated play after gaining an early numerical advantage and converted their control into two goals.

The Ukrainian Premier League (upl.ua) reported the result on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Chornomorets forward Jerry Yoka was sent off in the 17th minute, leaving the Odesa side under sustained pressure for most of the contest.

Carlos Paraco opened the scoring seven minutes later, with his attempt taking a deflection on its way into the net. Baton Zabergdzha doubled the lead in the 57th minute after a move through the centre and a pass from Ivan Kaliuzhnyi. Goalkeeper Kingsley Aniagbosо made numerous saves to prevent a heavier defeat.

Zabergdzha has now scored in five consecutive official appearances for Kharkiv and moved level with Polissia’s Ihor Krasnopir on five league goals this season. The result also gave head coach Mladen Bartulovic his 30th UPL win and matched the club’s record four-game winning streak set in 2021.
