Representatives of every Ukrainian Premier League club met by video conference to examine possible changes to the championship format. The Ukrainian Premier League reported the talks on Tuesday, October 6, via upl.ua.

A working group had prepared several options after studying regulations used by leading European leagues and consulting international counterparts. Clubs received the draft concepts in advance, allowing them to review the plans and submit proposals before the meeting.

During the discussion, each club outlined its preferred approach to the competition. The participants agreed on the next stage of work, with the stated goal of strengthening domestic competitiveness while reflecting present-day circumstances.

The meeting also addressed immediate arrangements for staging and broadcasting UPL fixtures amid the security situation in Ukraine. The league did not announce a final format or a timetable for its adoption.
