Polissya winger Andrade sets UPL season dribbling mark
Leandro Andrade recorded 11 dribbling attempts after coming off the bench against Kryvbas, the highest single-game total in the UPL this season.
Polissya winger Leandro Andrade has produced the Ukrainian Premier League’s highest single-match dribbling total of the 2026/27 campaign. The Cape Verde international attempted 11 take-ons during the seventh-round meeting with Kryvbas despite entering only in the 55th minute.
The Ukrainian Premier League reported the figures on Thursday, October 1, citing Wyscout data published on upl.ua. Andrade’s brief appearance was enough to move him above every other player in this season’s match-by-match ranking.
Vladyslav Veleten, whom Andrade replaced, made eight dribbling attempts and also reached the season’s top 10. Veleten remains the league leader by frequency, averaging 8.79 attempts per 90 minutes after seven rounds, ahead of Alisson on 7.63.
Andrade’s tally is below the standout marks from recent seasons. Shakhtar’s Alisson registered 23 attempts in one game in 2024/25, while Paulo Vitor of Karpaty and Joaquin Cifuentes of Epitsentr each reached 18 in 2025/26.
