Nazariy Rusyn and Ruslan Rotan have secured the Ukrainian Premier League’s player and coach awards for September following a combined vote by supporters and football specialists. The Ukrainian Premier League (upl.ua) announced the winners on Tuesday, September 29.

Rusyn appeared in all three of Karpaty’s league fixtures during the month and scored against Shakhtar and Kolos. Although he ranked fourth in the experts’ ballot, the forward led the fan vote by a clear margin and finished first overall.

Rotan earned top place in both sections of the coaching poll after Polissya collected three consecutive victories. His side defeated Kudrivka 5-1 and Livyi Bereh 1-0 before also overcoming Kryvbas.
