Chornomorets recovered from an early setback in Rivne to defeat Veres 3-1, securing their first UPL victory in two autumn months. The Ukrainian Premier League (upl.ua) reported the result on Saturday, October 31.

Veres struck first when Wesley Pomba met Andre Goncalves’ cross at the far post. Vasyl Kurko levelled before halftime from Giorgi Robakidze’s delivery, while Kristian Mba put the visitors ahead after goalkeeper Valentyn Horokh lost possession and Mykola Kohut supplied the pass.

Andrii Khoma completed the scoring after breaking clear onto another Robakidze ball. The win was Roman Hryhorchuk’s 30th away victory as a UPL coach, while Veres conceded at home for a ninth consecutive league match.
