Dynamo extend perfect home run against Scottish youth sides
The Kyiv club beat Rangers 3-2 in Stalowa Wola in the opening leg of the UEFA Youth League Champions Path second round.
Dynamo Kyiv recorded a 3-2 victory over Rangers while designated as the home team in Stalowa Wola, taking an advantage from the first match of their UEFA Youth League second-round tie. The Ukrainian Premier League reported the result on Thursday, October 29.
The win marked a third consecutive home success for Ukrainian clubs against Scottish opposition in the competition. Scotland consequently moved to the top of the list of countries against which Ukrainian teams have produced their longest winning starts at home.
Dynamo’s result also ended a five-game winless sequence for Ukrainian representatives in the Youth League dating back to December 10, 2025, a run comprising one draw and four defeats. Pavlo Liusin, Arsenii Fedorenko and Yaroslav Buravtsov scored their first goals in the tournament, while coach Pavlo Cherednichenko earned his first victory on his third appearance.
