Careless use of fire may lead to destructive blazes, property losses and damage to natural landscapes while endangering people nearby.

The warning was posted by Telegram channel @odesaoda on Thursday, October 15. Residents of the Odesa region were asked never to leave a fire unattended and to avoid burning dry plants or rubbish.

Anyone who discovers a fire should immediately call the emergency number 101. The appeal stressed that personal responsibility is central to preventing fire-related emergencies.
